Don’t intellectualize your happiness, experience it!
Work on your happiness and well-being like professional athletes do on their sports and become the happiest version of yourself.
Workout for Happiness is a holistic three and six-month program designed to increase people’s levels of happiness and well-being by using scientifically proven methods.
Although it’s a serious reconditioning program because real change takes a lot of time, commitment, energy and effort, it’s also a fun real-life adventure game with points, awards, teams, contests and more!
"Workout for Happiness has made me feel like I'm better equipped to take charge of my own health and happiness. Seeing how drastically things changed during the program helps me be more confident that I am ultimately responsible for how I feel."
- Cindy, Canada
Why it matters
It is easy to understand intellectually that we are responsible for our own happiness and that real change only comes from within. However, the difficulty lies in converting this understanding into reality.
We cannot wait around for happiness, we have to actively work for it and that is precisely where W4H helps! The emphasis on the doing is what makes W4H so special, because happiness is a lot of small things done well, day-by-day.
How we do it
Your life turns into a fun adventure that is happening in real-time. The game rules, framework and guidelines are on the app but you play it in real life.
You acquire the necessary knowledge and perform a variety of tasks – as identified by researchers and other professionals – that have been proven to foster sustainable happiness and increase well-being.
The Workout is based on 3 pillars:
A set of activities performed throughout the entire program for physical and mental health, because good health is a foundation for a flourishing life and highly necessary to receive new boosts of happiness.
The pursuit of happiness is subjective and means something different to everyone. At the beginning, you make a list of all your goals– big and small – and consistently work on checking them off (or take the first steps) throughout the program.
Each week, you receive a piece of text exploring a new realm of happiness research and perform a corresponding task. The purpose in putting theory into practice is to strengthen awareness and cultivate feelings of compassion and gratitude, among others.
